World Of Warcraft Leveling Guide – The Hunter
Do you want to roll a new character in World of Warcraft? I know exactly how frustrating and boring leveling a new twink in WoW can be. Having leveled several twinks to level 80 myself I know the hardships of leveling. That’s why I want to show you a strategy to increase your leveling speed and level a bit easier and faster.
The first step is to get a proven, effective leveling talent spec. My hunter leveling guide suggest you to go for Beast Mastery as your talent build. It has many advantages:
Your pet will be a great tank so you will avoid melee combat yourself.
You are not dependant on abilities that cost a lot of mana, so you can avoid lots of mana recovery breaks.
You won’t require great gear to deal a lot of damage. A great part of the damage will be done by your pet.
And – of course – there is another advantage. Leveling your hunter will feel like you’re on autopilot. You won’t need a fancy attack rotation. Just give your pet the attack order, wait a second, activate auto-attack and there you go. I have yet to find another class which is able to level to smoothly and easy.
The second part of my strategy is about the actual way of getting experience – and how not to get it.
Avoid grinding mobs! In the past there were lots of players that used grinding for fast leveling. But fortunately this time is over. Blizzard adjusted the amount of exp you get for completing a quest and you will level up significantly faster if you “grind” quests instead of mobs.
Gathering xp in instances is futile. Even if you are accompanied by a high level friend or guild made to pull you through an instance – the only thing you can really farm there is equipment. As soon as you have the most important loot, leave the instance and start leveling solo again.
